Summary
It’s 2008 and Draco Malfoy is a secret assassin. It's legitimate - he gets paid for it, and some higher ups in the Ministry (probably?) know he’s out there… killing people. He’s quite good, but that tracks with his dubious accounting of rights and wrongs and his penchant for self-preservation. During his downtime he does a great job of acting like a pureblood in penance... mostly by drinking and shagging his way into oblivion.
This double life helps to numb Draco to the constant feelings of shame and guilt from his formative years in which he was an utter cunt- but everything is upended when his team (assassins can have coworkers, alright?) dies in action and he does not. Suspended and forced to go to therapy, Draco is adrift.
When Hermione Granger re-enters the fray, their hateful relationship that was once fraught with swotty bickering (erm, and the occasional slur) is suddenly tense in a very different way.
How will these two come together? How often will Theo say something terribly charming? Do we hate Ron or is Ron just, meh? Oh, and what’s going on with that one murderous witch who’s out to kill them all (forgot to mention that part…)?

Summary
Sometimes you want to punch somebody. Other times, you're the one getting hit.
After an unfortunate bar fight, Hermione Granger accidentally invites Draco Malfoy to live on her couch indefinitely, but at least she's got his wand. She's struggling to hang onto her sanity and pleasant disposition, despite those nasty thoughts that keep popping into her head, but he's already given up on his. Meanwhile, the rest of the wizarding world is investigating his mysterious disappearance, he's inventing his own whole new reality from the comfort of Hermione's bed (not that she wants him there), the gravity's broken in the kitchen, Harry and Ginny won't stop trying to get her back together with Ron, Ron's sleeping with Lavender, Hermione wants to lay him out, Astoria Greengrass is mourning her not-so-dead fiancé, and everyone's so buried in lies that they might as well just forget about the whole concept of truth.

“But don’t worry too much, Draco… I don’t plan on letting him kill you… but then again, these things do happen… Half-breeds and beasts, you know how they can be…”
A werewolf.
He was going to punish his father by feeding his only son, the sole heir to the Malfoy line, to a werewolf.
Draco screamed.--
When Voldemort learns that Lucius has allowed his diary to be destroyed, he is far more brutal with his punishment. Draco's life as the perfect, Pureblood heir he has always believed himself to be comes to an abrupt end, and his life as a werewolf in Greyback's pack begins. When Remus Lupin offers him the opportunity to work alongside the Order of the Phoenix as a (extremely frustrated and unhappy) double agent, his life becomes more complicated than he ever could have dreamed. And that was without taking into account the way Granger suddenly smells much too enticing...
