Summary
Three doctors from Pittsburgh Memorial, abrasive Alpha Robby Robinavitch, calculating Alpha Jack Abbot, and anxious Omega Dennis Whittaker, can barely stand each other. Forced to attend a medical conference together as a hospital PR stunt overseas to improve the hospital's image, their plane crashes en route, leaving them the only survivors stranded on an uncharted island in the North Atlantic.
Thrown together by disaster, they must cooperate in order to survive, confronting both the island’s challenges and their own emotional baggage. Old rivalries and hospital hierarchies dissolve as they share their vulnerabilities, learn to trust one another, and discover strengths and vulnerabilities they never showed at work.
Isolation, passion, and renewed respects towards each man awaken unexpected attraction. As sexual tension boils over, each man invites intimacy, leading to all three joining together in a loving relationship. Together, as the months pass and rescue seems unlikely, they build a new life, growing food, making a home, and forging a genuine, loving bond.

Poor kid, he had time to think before his eyes traveled from the body covered by the heating blanket to the young man's face.
His heart dropped in his chest and his whole body turned cold with fear.
“Oh god…Whitaker?” he said as his eyes landed on the very familiar face.
The young man was deathly pale, skin waxy and lips blue, but there was no doubt in his mind that this was their former med student that he hadn't seen in months lying lifeless on the gurney, body covered in blankets, c-collar around his neck and breathing tube in his mouth and secured to his face.

Dennis doesn't get matched with PTMC or the emergency department. Almost a year later he is brought into the ER in critical condition. By then no one has heard from him in months.

'The older man laughed at his predicament. Then he did something terrible. He rolled up his sleeves for him. Dennis was damn near breathless when he got to the left hand. Jesus Christ, this will be a long day if Robby is already hovering and touching like this. He gets in moods where he likes to control what everyone does. Dennis is the one who bends to it the easiest, though, so he often bears the brunt. He didn’t even mind, which was probably the worst part.
When they walked out for the morning huddle, Trinity took one look at him and cackled. “My coat not good enough for ya? Or did you just wanna smell like daddy?” At least she had the decency to whisper it.
“Shut up. I should’ve never told you that.”'
