He closed his eyes—a moment to rest—only to open them again to a nauseous blur.
“Brimstone, can you hear me? Cypher is- he-”
There’s a pause. The familiar voice is muddied with the dizziness, yet the unmistakable glow of his mechanical eye was clear as a hopeful light at the end of a tunnel. A hand steadied his body and a cold palm wandered under his limp head. “I’m losing him!”
