"Angel..." They began their question carefully, grabbing onto the wagon the cage sits in instead of directly touching them. That never worked with them, so they just assumed whatever tactics they remembered as a child. (...Why were they using those for this? Why was it working?)
"WHAT?!" Answered The Angel, Its plumicorn flaring open, showing them irises of liquid golden and wrath that lasted eons in a single second, and a lower set of smaller, more pained and gullible eyes, nearly closed but enough to see they were similar to their own. A bloody red, molded in disconnection and an unending sense of loss that was never yours.
It tried to copy them in Its form. Huh. That's a can of worms that will eat their flesh alive when opened.
...Damn it all.
"How old are You?"
A.K.A — Mimicry as a form of socializing is often seen with people who don't know eachother well enough to diverge from what is previously approved of and people who don't know themselves well enough.
...Or children in their formative years.

At least there's no sign of anything like the hockey stick reappearing.
And hey, you're really mature for being eight! Not a child anymore, if you really thought about it. Just two more years and you’ll be in the double digits like an adult. Like Kris! But you didn’t want to lie to Kris. So you tuck away your complaints and pulse red in agreement.

Galar’s Champion Gloria is 11 years old, a proud dog mom to a canine with a large sword, and has had net negative amounts of media training. Top Coordinator Dawn and Subway Boss Ingo have just returned to the present day, where they are quickly learning that their fame takes precedence over the fact they still can’t eat a pizza. The Trial Captains of Alola have what might be described as a dedicated fanbase at best, and a cult following at worst.
Oh, and the Battle fandom as a whole? Feral.
