It happened about a year after they moved permanently to the Mushroom Kingdom. He and Mario were fighting a strange sorceress who was trying to take over Sarasaland. Purple, blue and red magic swirled above her as her wand stirred the sky. She brought it crashing down pointed straight at his brother shrieking: "A curse on you! Meddlesome human!" and Luigi hadn't thought, just acted. That was three years ago now.
By day, Luigi is his normal old self, but at night...he becomes something very different and this new form comes with a few...complications. Every six months, he goes into a week-long heat. They're agony on his own. Then he discovers that seeking a no-strings partner for the heat is commonplace in koopa society. So maybe he doesn't have to suffer alone after all. There are even reputable agencies who'll help find koopas suitable partners. Maybe this is a really bad idea. What if his body isn't accepted? If this world was anything like the one they'd left, could he even be sure he'd be allowed to peacefully exist if word got out? True, the agency swore not to part with his personal information, but...Luigi was scared. Terrified. But also, he really needed this. Maybe he should take a chance.

That Bucky would suddenly become a different person and throw Jason over the edge? At this point, he might welcome it. Except for the part where he went splat. “I hate it here,” he said as he leaned into Bucky’s body.
“I know, pal.” Bucky ran his hands through Jason’s hair, picking apart any knots in his curls. “They’re gonna have to let us out eventually.”
“Sergeant Barnes, Mr Todd is allowed to leave at any time,” Jarvis said. “It is you that is not permitted.”
Jason glared up at the ceiling, resting his chin on Bucky’s stomach. “One, no one invited you into this conversation. Two, if Bucky can’t leave, I’m not leaving, and three, fuck off.”
“Jaybug, remember how we’re trying not to curse.”
He stuck his tongue out. “Butt out,” he said to the ceiling instead.

Summary
Steve was Captain Hydra. Upon learning that Hydra captured Bucky and turned him into the Winter Soldier, however, he made it his mission to save his friend. Despite his... unusual... methods, Steve managed to rescue Bucky from Hydra and get him to the Avengers, but Bucky's recovery did not go to plan. The Avengers eventually got Steve released from prison into their custody to see if he could help. Can Steve truly help Bucky or is he going to end up doing more harm than good?
A sequel to Part 1 of Captain Hydra: "What If... Captain Hydra", following on from Alternate Ending One (Hydra Steve). For context consider giving Part 1 a read.
Check the tags, I will not be putting TWs for each chapter. I do not suggest Steve's ideas are a good way to combat trauma. I do not condone bad BDSM etiquette. Steve and Bucky are both extremely unreliable narrators. If Steve thinks he is not the hot mess of this story he's in for a shock.

Steve Rogers is Captain Hydra. He appears in the Winter Soldier's existence one day as his new handler. The Soldier is used to order through pain. But the pain his new handler provides is... exquisite.
I'm not even sure what this is. It's not pretty and it's not comfortable. It's not what I'm used to either but here we are when fluffy Stucky just doesn't quite cut it. The inspiration was the way Bucky gets beaten up by Walker in TFATWS, spits out blood and kneels that way he does over Steve's shield. Just screamed good sub.
Please, for the love of Our Lord and Saviour Bucky Barnes, check the tags because this one hurts, and I'm not sure if it's in a good way.
There is eventual comfort (sort of) if you want it... there are two alternate endings because I couldn't decide between Hydra Steve (Alternate Ending One) and Brainwashed Steve (Alternate Ending Two). Read both endings, choose just one, or not at all, but let me know which you prefer and I'll consider writing a sequel from the most popular. Or if there's a different ending you'd like to see you could try begging for it.

The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.
Alternatively: How Peter Parker effectively fucks over Bucky Barnes, and also totally saves him.
