It’s kind of pathetic, maybe, how little it takes for Taylor’s entire demeanor to change. Except it’s not little, not at all, it’s the only thing that’s kept her sane throughout the disaster of her mom’s sickness.
There’s nothing little about the feeling of Victoria’s eyes on her face in the dark, or the warmth of her hand in Taylor’s grip, or the way all of this makes Taylor’s heart sputter and expand in her chest.
