Khun can’t help but notice—even two weeks after the battle at the Nest, Yama's scent is still clinging to Bam. So is Evankhell’s. And most of the scents of any alpha that was hanging around the Irregular during the battle.
It’s not that surprising. Every omega Khun knows has suppressants, drugs that more or less neutralize their sweeter scent into something non-discernible, allowing them to pass as betas. But scents naturally stick to omegas. And without Bam’s natural sweetness seeping through, it makes Khun’s jealousy rear its ugly head, snarling at the thought of anyone scenting Bam.
It’s dumb, it’s stupid, and he really shouldn’t be worrying about it because of course Bam would smell like the people he’s around. He’s been training with Evankhell. He’s been talking to Yama and Doom about the Canines. And it’s on a regular basis, so unless he takes a shower after every single interaction, it makes sense that he would carry others’ scents.
Khun still can’t help but be irritated.

A recently risen dark lord who is the alive version of his sentiment locket friend sounds like the perfect match. All that's left to do is convince him.

Summary
One would think traveling 52 years into the past would allow Harry some much desired anonymity, but unfortunately the malfunctioning Triwizard Cup spat Harry out on the quidditch pitch in the middle of a game. There's no lying about his provenance while a shiny plaque on the base of the Cup announces to everyone he is 'Harry Potter, Hogwarts Champion, 1994.'
Swept up by the ministry and sworn to secrecy by the Unspeakables, Harry is left to navigate the past on his own. Good thing his great-grandparents are willing to take him in - even if they're a little more into blood purity than Harry had expected - and Hogwarts is willing to welcome him back - even if he's a novelty to everyone as the time traveling Champion.
At least Harry will have the familiarity of Gryffindor Tower to ease his homesickness. Or he would, if the sorting hat hadn't put him in Slytherin, where he's forced to share a dorm with none other than Tom Riddle.
