“I have an idea,” He grinned, a devious glint in his eyes that made Dream squirm his hips further into his chair.
“That’s never a good thing,” Dream snorted, pulling his phone out to check the time. 9:37 pm flashed back at him and he set his phone back on the desk.
“Okay, well, this one’s different.” Sapnap shot him a brief glare, fidgeting slightly as he spoke.
“Okay whatever, go on then. What’s on your mind?”
“We’re gonna see who actually lasts longer, a competition, so I can prove you wrong,” Sapnap hummed, absentmindedly picking at the sheets while he watched for Dream’s reaction.

Dream and Sapnap decide to have a competition to see who could last longer and it turns into so much more.

Karl Jacobs was leaning on his friend, red cup in hand, laughing happily. Sapnap didn’t know him then, didn’t know his name or anything about him, except his laugh and smile and purple sweater. He sat up, struggling to balance. Dream’s laughter cut through, interrupting Karl in Sapnap’s mind, and he clumsily hit Dream on the mouth to shut up.
“What is it?” Dream asked, grabbing Sapnap’s shoulder to keep him up.
“Pretty,” Sapnap said.
