When Alastor first agreed to date the television overlord, it was purely for his own amusement. He wanted to see how long it would take Vox to cross boundaries and prove his belief that the overzealous demon couldn’t survive without physical intimacy. Once that happened, Alastor could finally end things—maybe even kill him for the trouble.
At least, that had been the plan.
But now, as they approached their 10-year anniversary, Vox had yet to touch Alastor without explicit verbal permission— never exceeding more than hand-holding—let alone ask for anything intimate. Not even a kiss. It baffled Alastor. The demon, known for his arrogance and power, had shown nothing but restraint.

Senior year is filled with a host of minor annoyances: Enid’s new obsession, social pressures Wednesday does not subscribe to, these strange new heart palpitations caused by too much caffeine, and Xavier potentially not being the type of outcast everyone thought he was.

Summary
Alastor asks Vox to use his powers to hypnotize him, curious to see if Vox can do so now that he has had years of practice since they last tried. They experiment with a new approach, and Vox finds a way to tap into Alastor's frequency, being able to access his mind more easily. They find a rhythm that works for them, but Alastor isn't telling Vox the entire story behind his curiosity; instead, he just keeps pushing, which leads to misunderstandings, and Alastor soon finds that he’s bitten off more than he can chew.

Summary
Alastor didn't do this kind of thing. His sex drive was non-existent, much to the chagrin of his many admirers in life and after. Lucifer, though, thought a good O would help the stuck-up deer demon finally relax.
To be clear, Alastor had proposed a fight. Confident, the most powerful being in Hell could handle his punches, but the King refused on the grounds that a fight would only increase Alastor's bloodlust and lead to further frustration when he lost. Alastor was a sore loser. It was no secret. He didn't get to his position and power in Hell by giving up the game.
So...sex... Alastor was willing to try if only to prevent a new resident from becoming his mid-morning breakfast.

Summary
Alastor thinks of the sharp, focused eyes, locked on his face for so long that he often feels the need to cover his own to hide away from the intense scrutiny—how quickly Lucifer switches gears to do something again once it brings a hitch to his breath or jerk to his hips. He pauses the drumming of fingers, static shorting out for just a moment as he realizes that, perhaps, his lack of experience is a very good thing indeed.
Alastor didn’t know what he liked, didn’t know much of anything, so it stands to reason that Lucifer would do what he knew he liked first and then adjust it based on Alastor’s reactions.
He's practically been gifted knowledge on a silver platter on how to please Lucifer, he just didn’t realize it until now.

But Alastor can’t help but notice how ANNOYING Vox gets when he’s horny. Usually Alastor would just brush it off, but Vox can be insistent. That he will stop at nothing until he is satisfied.
Alastor is on a broadcast to half of hell? What better time for Vox to go annoy him!

Summary
In an instant, all the lights and electronics within the lounge shut off, bathing the room in absolute darkness. Alastor’s crimson dials were initially the only sources of light that could be seen, up until his chin was forcefully grabbed and his gaze was wrenched up and bathed in the bright, electric blue glow of Vox’s screen.
“Sorry, Alastor,” Vox chuckled, his layered voice becoming the only thing Alastor could hear other than the sounds of his own rapid breathing and pounding heart. “Your operating system’s obsolete.”
Alastor caught sight of that large, twisting red eye, and like that, he was trapped.
No matter how much his body struggled, his gaze was longer able to break away from that swirling crimson pit. “Vox—!”
“So!” The clawed hand moved around Alastor’s throat to shut him up before he could finish his plea. Vox’s grin was manic. “We’re gonna get inside that head of yours and make a few changes!”

Vox threatens to leak the footage of Alastor's battle against the first man unless Alastor agrees to join his team.
Alastor has other ideas.
With no way to destroy the evidence, Alastor is forced to find some favor he can offer Vox where he keeps his freedom and can continue working for the hotel, doing as he pleases. Unfortunately, the only thing that Vox would take instead of Alastor's partnership, would be Alastor's body.

“We really must stop meeting this way,” Alastor muttered, quickly casting a suspicious look around the hallway before ducking through the door, knowing Vox was already inside the room by the way his signal buzzed in the air, his own reacting to it with an irritating level of enthusiasm.
“What way?” Vox queried, not getting up from the armchair he was seated in, his legs crossed as he made a few more notes on his phone before tucking the thing away.
“Clandestine midnight meetings in seedy hotels. I shall start to think you consider me as – what's the word? – 'Easy',” Alastor clarified wryly, double checking the door was locked.
Vox tilted his head up, raising a brow at the radio demon.
“Okay – first of all, this hotel is the least seedy place in Pentagram city. Do you know how much it's costing me just to book in here? You pay for discretion, after all,” he shot back, unimpressed. Alastor played his canned laughter in the air, sending a pulse of static over the other man's shoulders that made his screen flicker.

“I’m not selling you my soul, Al,” Vox said matter-of-factly. “Your ass can’t be that good.”
“Ah, I would never ask for such a thing,” Alastor replied smoothly. “I know you’re a lecherous rascal, but not a fool. Though, if I had proposed it while sitting strategically on your lap, I’m sure you might have at least considered it.” Oh, Alastor was acting just a tiny bit scandalous.
And Vox didn’t want to smile. But despite himself, a reluctant smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. “Ha, ha, ha. Very funny.” It was kind of funny.or: Vox has a plan to get what he wants. Alastor has a better plan to get what he needs.
