“Yohohoho!” And there is Brook, hopping carefully down a pile of trash towards Jinbei, waving a hand back and forth in front of his face. “Ahh, this is a moment I dearly regret my lack of a nose - if only so I could pinch it shut until we find a way out of this place!”
Jinbei frowns, his Observation Haki spreading like ink in water. “Is it truly so large?”
“Miles of detritus, my friend! I could spy mountainous jungles to the south of us, but otherwise, there is only-” Brook’s foot goes straight through an old wagon he attempts to use as his final step to the ground, and the skeleton’s arms spin in circles for a moment before he topples forward. Thankfully Jinbei moves quickly enough to catch his crewmate, and Brook makes a beleaguered noise once both his feet are again upon solid ground. “-ah, trash.”

When he steps outside, squinting against the sun just past the horizon, Shanks is already looking up, tilting his hat to shade his eyes. There's a black dot in the paling sky, rapidly growing, and now that Benn's outside he can hear what Shanks meant, too- there's a faint sound that might be shouting and might be laughter.
Benn squints. "That's not a person, is it?"
"Can't be," Shanks says, then pauses. "In the Grand Line, maybe, but that sort of thing doesn't happen in the East Blue."
"Not reassuring, Captain," Benn says dryly.
(Or: Some eleven months into the Red-Hair Pirates' stay on sleepy little nowhere Dawn Island, the sun falls out of the sky.)

Monkey D. Luffy slams the entire battlefield with a wave of untempered conqueror's haki at the most inopportune moment possible, because of course he does, because no member of Garp's family has ever made Sengoku's life easy.
The executioners crumple like ragdolls, and Sengoku curses, turns, and everything twists-
And then all of a sudden the sky is upside down, an impossible ocean overhead stretching from horizon to horizon, and the air is filled with the sound of drums.

Summary
One final punch and it should’ve been over. Blackbeard defeated, the crew victorious, Luffy smiling like always… until a black hole opens and sucks him into another universe.
Usopp, ever the brave (and slightly panicked) sniper, jumps in after him—because leaving your captain behind isn’t an option, especially when he’s your brother in all but blood.
Now stranded in a world where the Straw Hats died early, Usopp and Luffy are falling (literally) into a battlefield they don’t recognize. And back home ? The rest of the crew isn’t sitting still. If getting Luffy and Usopp back means defying physics and dragging Vegapunk into it—so be it.
Too bad the people in this new world have no intention of letting either of them go.

Summary
When they’re on the forecastle, with the helm just behind them and the figurehead casting them further in shadow, Usopp calls, “Raise the sails!”
Luffy’s gasp next to his ear is the best part of his entire day.
The sails unfold in a great rolling crash of canvas. Even the striped gaff swings out, catching the wind. The whole sloop gives a powerful lurch as if she’s eager to sprint out of port on the back of whatever gale blows along next.
And painted on the foresail, bold and bright and proud, is a grinning Jolly Roger in a yellow straw hat.
“That’s mine,” Luffy whispers, hushed and awed.
“Told you so,” Usopp says smugly.

You can't help but notice as you wait for your coffee that he looks a little lonely, standing by himself. You wonder what he's doing in your busy little town, so colorfully out of place and alien in a corner of the world that runs on habit and routine.

“Hey guys.” Ace started out of nowhere, as he and his brothers laid down, staring at the sky from their usual cliffside spot. “What even… is Dadan.”
A beat of quiet.
“A hag!” Luffy said delightedly, giggling as he rolled over to stare at Ace. “An ugly one! Or even a bear! Oh she’s a bear-hag! A bear-hag-tiger-bandit!” He then gasped dramatically, stars in his eyes. “DO YOU THINK SHE CAN HAVE CLAWS! AND FANGS!”
“No! Idiot!” Sabo thumped Luffy on the head without even moving from his position on his back. “Dadan isn’t a bear. Or a tiger. She is a hag though.” He nodded, as if he had made an excellent, proper point.
Ace groaned at his brothers. “No! I mean what even is she to like… us. Not anybody else.”

Summary
Luffy said a lot of shit. But according to him, so did Ace. If only Sanji could figure out who the hell Ace was.
The crew offered no help, but that didn’t stop them from joining in the fun. Sanji almost regretted bringing it up, but even he couldn't deny that making up shit that “Ace” said made them all roll with laughter.
It was a good thing Ace loved the game just as much.

In this timeline, Sabo survived. There was no ambush by Bluejam, no chains dragging him back to the hell of nobility. He stayed—where he belonged—beside his brothers.
But the fire still came.
This time, Sabo had the chance to fight it. To protect Ace. To keep Luffy far away, safe at home. It should have been enough.
It wasn’t.
Because in this world, fate didn’t repeat itself—it twisted.
And maybe… just maybe… this version of the story is worse than the one before.
