Bob's mind was slow, like it had turned into thick molasses. His thoughts going slow as can. The normal flow of constant thoughts no longer. His brain that normally travels a million miles a second now calmed to barely conscious. He feels a numb, pulsing pain in his forearm, where the needle had gone through. He barely registers the cold wind blowing on his cheek, and he's barely able to keep hold of his cigarette.
