    Wendy sat up straighter as Dr Evans took a seat to assess her symptoms. “I was watching a movie with my boyfriend when I started to throw up. I fell asleep soon after but woke up still feeling nauseous.”

    “Okay so this just came up. We should have the results in just a moment.” Dr Evans continued Wendy’s exam before Natasha came in with the results. Wendy held her breath as the doctor looked over her clipboard.

    “Your paperwork said you did not want to keep the baby?” Natasha asked.

    Wendy squared her shoulders, trying to look brave. “Yes that’s right.”

    “So your pregnancy test was positive. We’ll give you some information from Unplanned Parenthood to set up an appointment.” Dr Evans said.

    Wendy felt her face flush, it was way too hot in this doctor’s office. She didn’t want to faint but she leaned over and threw up in the trash once more.
