For the first few years it had been easy enough to pop suppressants every morning, adjust his diet a little bit, and wear the right clothes. It made him neutral, in a way. It was easy to ignore the fact that he was the only Omega on the track. None of the others seemed to particularly care, and if they did, certainly no one was going to utter a word to the reigning World Champion. Valentino didn't act like an Omega—a thing he made a point to avoid in its entirety. He had never felt attached to the identity, anyway. It was a base emotion, an animal desire. He could, like any other obstacle, overcome it with flying colors, and from age seventeen to twenty-four, he did.
