Summary

Summary
Motoyasu had always found the Shield Hero rather beautiful for a man. At first, he couldn't possibly believe that someone with such a lovely appearance could be a man, much less one only one year younger than him. Even after Myne came forth, showing the hero's supposed true face, he couldn't help but find something about them odd.
How could such a beautiful person turn out to be so vile and cruel? Especially so towards women? Assaulting women, using slave crests to force others to obey... How could someone have the will to do such a thing?
Time passes, and as he learns more about the corrupt hero, something seems incredibly off about them.
It's only when he follows them as they walk into the night that the doors to truth open.
Accidentally watching them bathe that they realize the first truth, the beautiful man before him isn't a man at all. -

Summary
To bring something into this world, something else must be given up. Even with magic, there is no creation, rather, the expenditure of energy to manipulate an existing reality. To bring the souls of the four heroes into Melromarc from another world, something else must be lost.
Naofumi and the three other heroes find themselves in a new world, their souls placed in bodies that weren't their own. The Spear, Bow, and Sword have all received the bodies of young noblemen, second and third sons of eloquent families having given up their own lives for their heroes. However, Naofumi has been forced into the body of a certain sickly demihuman slave.
The unfair nature of the situation isn't exactly lost on him.

Summary
Each hero was chosen by a legendary weapon for a reason, a simple preference, some in spite of flaws and others because they were perfect for the role. In this world, the required traits of each weapon has been swapped, altering the personalities of the heroes for the purpose of fitting the qualifications of a different weapon.
Iwatani Naofumi, age twenty, is a college-going social butterfly determined to make a web of friends that could make anybody jealous. However, one day, in his favorite hangout spot, the library, he stumbles upon an odd fantasy novel. In a flash, he discovers his role as the Legendary Spear Hero, it's exciting, intriguing, not to mention fun, but... why does it all feel so familiar?
