Jack wanted nothing more than to push Tommy off the side of the Hotel, but he couldn't for two reasons. The most important one is Sam Nook, the robot programmed to protect Tommy, who was in front of the Hotel. Sam Nook, who would not believe Jack if he said Tommy jumped, especially after what he told the younger boy the last time he was at the Hotel. The second reason being he needed the little gremlin's help.
