Summary

Compelling and round story, very sweet and with a good dose of intrigue and mistery. The first part of the story is set in a "closed space" setting, like classic literature which I enjoy very much.

One of the most satisfying Harry goes back to Tom Riddle's era fics. Nice read, long, with beliavable characters and a natural relationship development. Good ending too, quite a lot of smut (and very well written) without being excesive.
Definetly a feel good reread.

Bittersweet. A good story with compelling character development.
Lots of hurt, not much in the sense of comfort. Surprising turns of narrative. The ending is satisfying, even if not all that happy.
No bashing at all, just different characters created by slightly different circumstances. It reads fairly quikly. -

On the 2nd of May 1998, Britain was freed from its tyrant. Dozens fell in the fight for equality, justice and freedom. Dozens died in vain. For when technology triumphs over magic, Muggles attempt to wipe mages out, exactly as the Dark Lord had foretold.
On the 4th of March 2007, Magical Britain ceases to exist.Desperate to undo the damage, Harry travels back in time to prevent Voldemort's demise.
Only, things don't quite work out as intended, as he ends up being reborn in a world not entirely like his own with a tattoo of a red eye on the back of his hand.

One of the most recommended fics for the pairing for a reason. A masterpiece in chatacterization and plot, even if hard to read at times (with fantastic angst). Mostly an epic Thriller, with some comedy, drama and romance sprinkled on top. I would say a story about honestly, acceptance and closure

A few months after reading: This series changed my brain chemistry. It's SO GOOD, so much character building. Just. Excellent.
PROS: One of the best reads in the fandom. Brill.
CONS: You will be doomed to ship Harry/Fred from now on, darlin' (and it's a rarepair). You may find yourself saying Brill from now on.

George stands before him in the doorway, like a gangly, terrible ghost. His face is heinously pale, which makes the dark bags under his eyes pop in a way that is altogether unflattering, and he wears only a large, striped sweater and a pair of boxers with bats on them. His hair is much longer than it had been last time Harry had seen him, and it’s pulled back into a loose knot. “Harry,” he says, and it comes out breathlessly.
“George.” Harry stands there, wholly encapsulated by familiar heartache just at the sight of his friend. His eyes flick past him to investigate the flat. Clothes and dirty dishes are strewn all over the living room and, if he’s not mistaken, there are at least three pairs of underwear hanging from the ceiling fan. He glances back at George, who is now leaning against the doorway staring at him, expressionless. Harry clears his throat. “I, um… came for a visit. Sorry.”

Summary
Dumbledore doesn't make it in time for Harry's trial, and the outcome is very different. Harry is expelled, his wand snapped.
But he refuses to give up. And he is done waiting around for Albus Dumbledore to give him information.
Deciding to take his life into his own hands, Harry asks for training from several Order members, preparing himself to fight Voldemort while the whole wizarding world believes he's helpless and back in the muggle world.
Meanwhile, his friends are at Hogwarts, tackling their own problems in the form of Dolores Umbridge. Harry hadn't expected the separation to be so difficult - or for a certain mischievous redhead to make the waiting game they'd entered into so very excruciating.
He might have lost his home in Hogwarts, but with Sirius and Remus around, Harry begins to learn that rebuilding a family isn't as hard as he'd anticipated.

His mind healer kept trying to get him to feel his feelings instead of pushing them down. Granger wouldn't stop bloody annoying him. But he was fine... so why couldn't he stop thinking about dying?
// A very different Harry Potter, one who was born a twin and whose parents were very much alive, lands in an alternate dimension where his parents aren't alive, he's known as the Boy Who Lived, and the war hasn't started up yet.
