The rapid decay of his Plumeria flower tree which was once growing beautifully sent Attuma into overdrive into fixing it. Each gardening store left him even more frustrated until he finds a certain plant nursery.
“Excuse me-”
Attuma turned around quickly at the light voice, he didn’t even hear her approach him, and judging from her apologetic look in return she knew this.
“I am sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you but was everything okay?”
The crease in between his brows only softened slightly, though she wore no apron he did see her name tag that read, Okoye.

W'Kabi wanted to try again knowing their marriage was at their end. She denied his want to start again and pushed for him to sign the divorce papers. Okoye made it her goal to make her new home as welcoming as possible. Taking a huge step to divorce W'Kabi, this was the next chapter to dive into. Her neighbor was annoyed that the property next to him was purchased so fast but had a change of heart once seeing her. And wanted to do everything in his power to see and know more of her.

With Shuri able to stop the fight between Attuma and Okoye on that damn bridge in Boston, an entirely new set of events was set in motion. For Okoye was taken to Talokan alongside the Princess and Riri. Yet war between the two nations still remained on the horizon after the retrieval of the trio by Nakia. That was until diplomacy determined their fates. For if Namor could not have Shuri, he would settle for an arranged marriage between the greatest generals of Wakanda and Talokan as a show of trust and allyship.
Under pressure that this unholy union would succeed, Okoye and Attuma found themselves thrown together. Whether or not they'd prove able to make amends was yet to be seen. All while both their nations were still under threat by colonizers targeting their precious vibranium.

With his chin, Namor gestured at the space between the pair. “You’ll have to come closer,” he said.
Shuri stepped closer.
Namor gestured again. “Closer.”
Shuri took another, smaller step closer. She was close enough to count the water droplets cascading down his chest. Drawing her eyes away, she looked up and was surprised to see Namor staring at her just as intently. His gaze shot down to her lips.
Suddenly nervous, Shuri did the first thing she could think of and punched Namor right in his stupidly handsome face.

Plagued by the ghost of her long-dead cousin, Shuri does the sensible thing and goes along with his harebrained scheme to seduce Namor and unceremoniously dump the man. It’s not exactly the type of revenge she would have thought of, but if it gives her an excuse to see him, well, it can’t be all that bad, can it?
