Summary
The Frontman isn't surprised by Gi-hun's trauma. He knows firsthand what that island can do, how it breaks someone's spirit. He can only imagine how much worse it feels being back a second time. Nevertheless, the erratic, skittish behavior that Gi-hun starts to display during the games intrigues him. Worries him, even.
It doesn't take him long to realize that Gi-hun has not one, but two familiar faces among the other players. An old friend, but also an ex, abusive boyfriend.
As Young-il allows In-ho to experience the games and be close to the object of his fascination, he gets to watch Gi-hun unravel before his eyes, initiating a new, exciting, and equally lethal game between the Frontman and the player who wants to destroy him.- Language:

“No take-backs,” Geralt affirms, and Jaskier kisses him, sweet and tender. Geralt basks in the warmth of Jaskier’s body against his, sinking into the feeling of being loved and cherished, into the knowledge that Jaskier will be his, and he will be Jaskier’s, forever.

Jaskier is free for the first time in centuries; he could go anywhere, do anything, but the man who freed him looks so desperate for help that Jaskier can’t resist sticking around. After all, what kind of person tracks down an extremely powerful magical being to wish for a nap? Jaskier pretends that he is bound, that Geralt has three wishes. He’ll get to tag along, see more of the human world, and spend more time with the witcher. Geralt is procrastinating making the wishes; he’ll never admit it, but he likes the company and wants to put off the moment when Jaskier will leave.

Anger wasn't something Jaskier was well acquainted with, he preferred to stick with his usual love-drunk yearning. Learning to live with this new, pent up fire was painful, and he couldn't wait for the moment where he could finally let go.
But Geralt wasn't the same. The look in his eyes, just a single look, and that fire nearly died out in an instant. It seemed that, no matter how many times Jaskier was thrust away, he couldn't help the fact that he never wanted to let go. Not again. Not ever.
And then, one time, he didn't.
