Out of the corner of his eye he could see how his threat delivered in a low growl was received by the two men he was giving his life for. The way they shuddered from slight fear despite it not being directed towards them. They knew he meant it.
The Watcher in front of him kept Their face completely neutral, as always, though after the years They spent tormenting him, learning how to break him, studying him… he studied Them back. Grian learnt Their tells. They were not going to take his threat lightly.
Grian spent years piecing his broken self back together with the help of his family into something much stronger than before.
The Watchers should be afraid of him now.
And from the looks of it, They were.

Grian's past comes to haunt in the form of kidnapping his best friends. Although, maybe it wasn't the best idea? Especially when he has backup he doesn't know about :)

I mean, obviously the boy has trauma. The system sucks, I think we all know this. Phil just wants to make some kids' lives better, he does what he can. He a good dadza.

Summary
Ranboo knows the secret identities of every single hero, villain and vigilante in L’manberg. He just doesn’t know it. What he does know, is they all, for some reason, make a point to never fight anywhere close to the coffee shop he works in, and that most of his regulars are nice people who tip a lot and very unprompted.
EDIT: It's been over a year since I started this, and the few plans I had never got written out, despite how much I love this AU. QSMP completely took over my brain when it started last year, not long after I started this one, and I started writing a lot for QSMP (I have so many wips in my docs that it's not even funny anymore lol) and everything else went on the back burner. I also have some characters to write out of this one because yikes.
Point is: never expect updates from me, writer's block almost always has a firm hold on me kekw. Also, I'm more of a crow now than a particle orz

Summary
Life with the watchers was a constant flip-flop between too much and too little. Sometimes Xelqua would find himself entertained for years, watching over his players, sometimes he’d be working with other Watchers, punishing those who disobeyed, sometimes he’d be the one being punished. Other times he found himself drifting in the void, the silence loud in his ears as he floated, his wings beating idly to keep him afloat in the starry darkness.
It was during one of those times, as he watched the lights fall and rise, waiting for Oculine to give him something to Watch, that he felt something change. For the first time in three hundred years, he felt his code, it was tugging him towards something in the distance.

A series of events leads to Grian getting his wings broken, joining hermitcraft, and inadvertantly getting mentally adopted by Xisuma. Grian wants none of those things to happen, but theyre going to anyways.
This fic is made solely for me, so please read whats on the tin!

"So," Xisuma cleared his throat, "What're you doing out so late?" He asked with a small tilt of his head, so so kindly.
Grian felt his throat tighten, "My house is loud." He mumbled, taking another sip of tea. It was very very pleasantly warm going down his throat and settling in his stomach. Very pleasant.
"Loud?"
Grian didn't like this seat. He...he...
Grian sniffed and slipped out, looking up at Xisuma with massive blue eyes, "Can I have a hug?"
He wanted a hug. So so so so so so badly. He wanted a hug. He wanted so much.
He could see Xisuma startle, just a little, before lowering his mug to the table and opening up his arms, "Yeah, yes of course...c'mere."
Grian wasted no time and crawled into the man's lap, curling into the tightest ball that he possibly could and tucking his head under Xisuma's chin.
He felt tiny.
