It was a land of magic and blood, so unforgiving that Ochako is forced to do everything she can to keep her 'friends' safe while trying to figure out the mystery of why she was transported there in the first place. And she wasn't the only one there with secrets powerful enough to level mountains. While being mistaken for another version of herself, she decides that the safest thing for her to do is to pretend to be this world's Ochako, their Uraraka, while she can figure out a plan to go home.
Too bad this intense, tattooed Bakugou can see right through her.

It’s such a strange thing to say. DIO’s name doesn’t belong in this crowded classroom, stuffed in with Jotaro’s sighing classmates and ancient textbooks. The word doesn’t even belong in Kakyoin’s mouth; the Kakyoin Jotaro knew wasn’t one for trite sentiments. He has to know that Jotaro didn’t kill DIO for him. He didn’t even do it for his mother or his grandfather, even if the two of them were what propelled him towards the fight. He did it for himself.
"He really pissed me off," Jotaro says.

Noriaki Kakyoin doesn't have a soulmate. He's never had a shared dream, never had someone else's thoughts in his head, and his skin is free of any soulmate-identifying marks. He's just accepted that he's destined to be alone, unlovable and unwanted. At least, that's what he's told himself until a star shaped mark appears on his ribs.
Jotaro Kujo will never find his soulmate. How could he? All he has to go off of is a green diamond shape that appeared on his ribs one day. He doesn't even remember if he met anyone special that day. He'll just have to go with the flow of life, he supposes, since he's apparently already met his soulmate and didn’t realize. Meanwhile, his crush on YouTube celebrity Kakyoin Noriaki keeps growing. If only he could know what his soulmark was.
The soulmate au I needed to write because you gotta be the change you wish to see in the world or whatever and I really wish to see more soulmate au fics in this fandom.

Jotaro had always been the most comfortable with the simple things. Small gestures, short sentences, little thoughtful gifts—there, he was in his element. Usually, Kakyoin felt the same—or at least he understood the feeling. But every so often, Kakyoin would suddenly surprise Jotaro with something on a grander scale; expensive trips to scientific exhibitions, tickets to sumo games, a fancy new aquarium. Inevitably, Jotaro would be left speechless, hiding his surprise beneath the brim of his hat, uttering purely sincere, if awkward, thank-you’s. The gentle purple of Kakyoin’s eyes would always sparkle at Jotaro’s reaction. Jotaro supposed that meant Kakyoin enjoyed himself on those occasions, too.
