Summary
After HYDRA reemerges with new technology stolen from Tony Stark, General Ross agrees to extend amnesty to Steve and the others. He's hesitant to include Bucky until he hears that Bucky is now a married man trying to start a family. The problem? Bucky is still in hiding in Wakanda, and he definitely isn't married. Natasha searches for and finds the perfect candidate for his fake wife in Darcy Lewis, who doesn't need much convincing. Steve has a harder time talking Bucky into this charade. Can Bucky and Darcy pull off a fake marriage without actually falling in love? Can Bucky build a friendship with Tony that can overcome their past? And what is Ross really up to?

Everyone realized that she would be safer if she lived in the Tower. Well, everyone realized except Darcy. Meanwhile, Steve becomes attracted to Darcy but knows that she is already in a relationship…at least one. Yet Darcy seems to think she is single? As the Found Family blossoms, someone new makes the mistake of harming Darcy. (There is also a discussion of which character from “Due South” each Avenger is.)

Clint swoons, Tony snarks, Bucky bubbles up with joy, and Steve gnashes a few teeth. Not, in fact, intended as crack. Even gets a tiny smidge angsty there for a minnit. -

At age 14, she meets him again when she is making her way back home after escaping kidnappers. Her last year at Trinian's, she and her team find the Winter Soldier so she can check on him and promise him help (from any Trinian girl) when he needs it. Ten years later, he takes them up on the offer. One more year, Bucky meets up with Darcy.
