She glances back at him to see his familiar smirk twisting his lips. “I was hoping you’d be up for showing just how weak you aren’t.” She raises an eyebrow at his words. “A quick spar. If I win, you tell those assholes to shove it the next time they’re stupid enough to make an article about how ‘weak’ you are.”
She crosses her arms, facing him fully now. “And if I win?”
He works his jaw as he thought about what could possibly interest her enough to take him up on this offer. “If you win, I’ll make you homemade mochi.”
Okay, she was definitely intrigued. But she wasn’t about to let him know that.
