Summary
A Hurt/No Comfort fic based on the children's song "You are my sunshine."
I got inspired by apricitobio on Tumblr who used the song as a prompt for their Naruto oneshot.
I hope it's still written different from their story. I mean, mine is a few chapters long, too.
I have 4 chapters planned. Might do a 5th as an alternate ending, but it might not happen.
I have 3/4ths of this fic written so I decided to go ahead and post chapter 1. I was going to do the whole thing at once, but decided against it. Chapters may be short, but that doesn't matter as much as the story being told.
