Summary

Arthur turned. Blue eyes, quick and keen and infuriatingly curious, flicked over him. “Excuse me?”
“Using a servant as a moving target.” Merlin tipped his head toward the boy trotting in a circle, the shield clattering against his spine. “It’s crude. If you wanted to show off, you could have asked me to watch. I make an excellent audience.
A squire choked. The boy stumbled to a grateful halt.
Arthur’s mouth flattened into the princely version of a smile’s shadow. “Do you know who you’re talking to?”

Summary
Merlin, Prince of Dracaneard, only meant to go visit Camelot in secret so he could see the land of prophecy and meet his uncle. He really didn’t intend to save Prince Arthur’s life or be given a job as his manservant for the trouble.
But it’s a good way to get to know the prince who is prophesied to unite Albion and bring back magic by Merlin’s side, isn’t it? And it’s not as if Arthur knows that his newest servant is the crown prince to Camelot’s enemy.
Surely, this won’t turn ten shades of complicated all too soon.

Summary
Prince Merlin Emeryson of Essetir spends the summer at Camelot and is arguing the whole time with Prince Arthur Pendragon, while spending time with Morgana Pendragon. Merlin and Morgana’s closeness have everyone believing that they’ll be wed.
Instead, Arthur’s servant finds Arthur and Merlin together in bed one morning and leave their parents convinced at the two are in love. They’re soon engaged and set to be married in a year.
While Merlin is back in Essetir, they are encouraged to send letters to each other to stay in touch.
