The Bros, Starlow, and Paper Mario compare notes on their respective universes and the differences between them.

    ──────────────────────────────────────────────

And that's when Paper Mario asked the big question.

    Who is Starlow?

Her eyes widened, and she lurched back in shock. "W-what? You don't know me?"

    He shook his head.

"Well, I'm Starlow! I'm a representative of the Star Sprites! Do you have those?"

Paper Mario raised an eyebrow, asking if she meant Star Spirits.

"Star Spirits? No, I'm a Star Sprite! I've never heard of a Star Spirit before. What do they do?" She asked, curious to learn more about his world.

Paper Mario tries to use a 3D item like a paper item and it doesn't work. The Bros have to explain to him that he needs to eat the items.

    ──────────────────────────────────────────

Paper Mario was still figuring out exactly how this 3D World worked.

He had adjusted fairly well so far, many things had been very close to how they worked in his world...

So he didn't second guess himself when he pulled out an item, and held it high over his head, and waited for the healing to commence.

    ...and waited.

    And waited.

    Sure is taking awhile.

    Summary

The Trio was exploring a building together, when out of nowhere, something got Paper Mario really excited.

Mario and Luigi watched in confusion as he ran over to a normal old pair of scissors, and excitedly tossed it up into the air, holding it in a presenting fashion like it was an important item.

Mario and Luigi approached him, a bit hesitantly, and stared at him in confusion.

Noticing their stares, Paper Mario explained that it was a Thing, a very powerful item in his world, capable of cutting up all enemies in a battle.

"But... That's-a just a normal pair of-a scissors." Mario pointed out.

"Yeah... I thought everything in the book was-a paper?" Luigi added.

Paper Mario explained that Things are some of the only things in his world that aren't paper, and that they were so rare, even his main ally of that adventure didn't know what to make of it.
