They were about an hour into their two-hour session at this shooting range now, and Vi was struggling to concentrate.
Why? Because of Caitlyn.
Don’t get her wrong: she was sure that Caitlyn was an excellent teacher. Vi was just a terrible student because instead of paying attention to her teacher, she was watching the way Caitlyn’s fingers glided across the barrel of her rifle.
