Summary
A young Jack Morrison finds himself falling for fellow soldier Gabriel Reyes, despite that Reyes keeps having strange flickers of memory loss and mood swings. Unbeknownst to him, these are not new side effects to the drugs they are given as a part of the SEP, as he imagines they are. Instead, the truth is that Reaper, from the canon timeline, finds himself suddenly unable to control his powers - sometimes, when he shadow steps, he is flung back into his own past. His continued presence in his old body is changing the relationship he had with Jack Morrison in ways that he is helpless to stop. And he will have to make a choice - should he use his knowledge of the future to help Overwatch, or to destroy it?

Loras is gliding the razor carefully over his chin now. Renly hates this part; Loras is too close for too long, concentrating on his task with a focus that makes it too easy to stare at him. And Renly has done far too much staring. He could probably provide a tally of Loras’s eyelashes by now (a staggering lot), or identify which side of his lower lip Loras bites when he’s concentrating (the left), or number the tawny flecks in his eyes (eight in one eye, five in the other). He could probably even find the freckle just under Loras’s eyebrow in the dark. With his tongue. Gods.

When Jack had suggested this trip, Gabriel’s first instinct was to say no, absolutely not. He didn’t want to go to Indiana and stare at nothing all day for a week. He didn’t want to see the horizon across miles of flat-ass land covered in nothing but corn. He didn’t want to be woken up at the crack of dawn because some fancy chickens couldn’t shut the fuck up.
(He refused to think about the real reason he didn’t want to go: that it would be him and Jack, alone, for a week. For the first time since… since before Zurich.)
Jack and Gabriel take a long-overdue vacation to Jack's family home, looking for answers they don't think they'll find.

Jesse has been to Brazil before, but he came in fast and left out bloody. Didn’t get a chance to do much sightseein', and Lúcio is sure that’s an understatement, but he doesn’t ask any more questions.
They all have their scars, and their stories, and they’ll share them when they’re ready. Genji has never been anywhere in South America, and he’s excited in a way that feels contagious, even from miles away. The grin he’s wearing in the pictures he’s sending is gleeful.
Lúcio wants to kiss it off his mouth.

Didn’t wanna uh… you know. Bother you and Jack, or whatever. He’s still on base until day after tomorrow, yeah?”
Gabriel hummed, amused, and Jesse’s stomach twisted at the sound.
It was something he usually heard from his knees, looking up at Gabriel, leather wrapped snug around his throat. Jesse could all but feel Gabriel’s fingers in his hair, petting through the strands, scratching at his scalp.
“Yeah, he’s here. Say hi, Jackie.” There was a pause, and then the sound of someone whining, animal and desperate. Jesse’s stomach flipped again, throat tight and mouth dry. “He’s a little occupied at the moment, but you get the idea. Been telling him stories about you.”
“What uh… what kind of stories?”
Gabriel laughed, low and throaty.
“Same kind of stories I tell you about him."
