This is the story of a long weekend at an in-person mario kart tournament. The tournament has decided that, to encourage participants to go to sleep instead of practicing all night, that teammates won't share hotel rooms. They'll be assigned another team to bunk up with. Izzy doesn't like having to hide his practice from the competition, but Ed doesn't mind one bit once he meets his roommate for the weekend. Stede wasn't supposed to be at this tournament. He really isn't very good at this. But Oluwande was facing a family emergency and Jim REALLY wanted to compete, so Stede doesn't mind helping out. Over four days, Stede and Ed find love, companionship, and the true meaning of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
