Max Verstappen loves racing, this is a universal truth.
He’s spent the last decade of his life racing on the biggest stage in the world of motorsport. Through all these years, Max never really got nervous or hesitant. He always knew, another universal truth, that he was going to be a world champion one day. There had been doubts in the paddock, of course, but he never shared them. It was always going to be a matter of time. A matter of when, not if. There had been no room for nervosity, no need for it. Through it all, Max Verstappen had always felt in control of his own future.
That is, until Max Verstappen met Charles Leclerc.

If there was one thing Max was absolutely sure of, it's that he didn't ever want to have kids.
He doesn't hate kids, no. Far from it, really. He adores his sister's children and can never get enough of them. He's not terrible with kids either given he works in paediatrics. He just didn't want to have kids of his own.

Summary
Lando can’t help but feel suspicious when he sees that both Max and Charles are hanging out and sick at the exact same time, especially during the summer break when they’re supposed to be on separate holidays.
It’s odd because, as far as he knows, Max and Charles don’t usually spend time together outside of the paddock—they aren’t even particularly close. What’s even stranger is that this isn’t the first time it’s happened. Or the second.
One instance could be a fluke, two might just be a strange coincidence, and three times is enough to make him raise an eyebrow. But four? That’s enough to set off alarm bells.
He begins to wonder if Max and Charles are far closer nowadays than anyone realizes. Is he being paranoid, or there’s a chance he’s losing his place as Max’s best friend?
Or: Lando + the drivers try to find out why Max and Charles keep getting sick at the same time, and he’s going to be a detective about it.
