“Satoru,” he says, yielding not for the sake of acquainting with Itadori but to put a stop to any other ridiculous name Itadori can come up with.
Itadori grins. He’s all rosy cheeks and white teeth it almost makes Satoru’s own hurt. “So, that makes you Satoru-kun.”
Where Gojo is born a little late into the timeline and Itadori Yuuji crashes into his world.

Leaning back in his chair with a fluid sigh, Wilbur smiles, wide and lethal. “You’re used to giving, aren’t you?” He cocks his head and his glasses flash, like lightning over a stormy sea.
Tommy swallows, but before he can answer Wilbur’s leaning back over the table, close enough that Tommy can make out his eyelashes through his lenses.
“Sometimes, Tommy,” He drawls, gaze so full of fire and violence and blue that it hurts to look at (but he can’t look away), “You’ve just gotta take.” He whispers, and the letters fall like bloody knives onto the table between him.
There’s a stiff moment of silence as Tommy considers the weapons, as he tries to think past the terror gripping his veins. He blinks. So long for clean hands.

The royal family of Antarctic empire isn’t exactly close.
Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn’t seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, their relationship can be described to be strained at best.
The royal family doesn’t need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads – as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo.

Fuck you, he tries to say and the System laughs, watchful eyes taking in the death of the last User. Pale slivers of sunlight blur into darkness as his eyes finally shut close for the final time, alone and itching to see Tubbo.
Or: Tommy and Tubbo are bound to a System where they play the role of two villainous characters, Prince Theseus and Tobias. A glitch occurs during the last chapter of the story and they wind up back in the past having to redo everything. Except it's not just them who have memories of the first timeline and the story is rapidly falling apart.

Although he really hoped he could stay on the side of simply fixing up a small time vigilante every so often, but his plans eventually got smashed into pieces the moment he came across a particularly annoying supervillain bleeding out in an alley.
It suddenly changed everything and staying hidden from heroes was becoming harder with each day.

Summary
Statues were common amongst cities. Each town worshipped a certain God--or Gods and Goddesses--that aligned with that city’s beliefs. Tommy has seen many statues in his time: statues of his ex-family, statues of Karl, God of time, statues of Schlatt, God of corruption--those cities were filled with unfriendly people, Tommy shuttered at the memory--statues of XD, God of reality, statues of Nihachu, Goddess of vengeance, and so on. The one constant amongst each statue is that the deity was always sat on a throne with an object that symbolized their abilities and a warm expression on their face.
Gods and Goddesses, in Tommy’s opinion, should not be honored. Though he might be a bit biased. His opinion of them stemmed from an experience he wished he could push to the furthest reaches of his mind. The statues portrayed the deities as a warm and friendly figure, yet it couldn’t be further from the truth. Deities are nothing but cruel, rude, wrongens that didn’t deserve the worship they had. They were all selfish, possessive, and greedy. Mortals and worshippers always put too much faith into these Gods, only to be disappointed once their prayers aren’t answered and they get fucked over. It was like Stockholm Syndrome.

Summary
Eons ago, the Blood God and Death found their two missing pieces, and the quartet was made whole. Meant to last an eternity, it was abruptly shattered when the youngest member was brutally murdered before he had a chance to rise as a higher being.
Tommy just wants to finish highschool, move out of his shitty foster parents house, and get a lot of women. All of the women. His plans are suddenly placed on an abrupt hold when he’s kidnapped and taken to a dark organization called the Syndicate - and suddenly things are falling apart faster than he thought they possibly could as the three leaders of the Syndicate place him under their loving protection, one of his best friends is revealed to be working for potential terrorists, his religious beliefs are horribly shaken, and everyone seems to be convinced that he’s the reincarnation of some ancient martyr. The final piece of some holy quartet Wilbur cheerfully calls ‘Sleepy Bois Incorporated.’
Philza laughs at the name. Technoblade rolls his eyes.
Tommy is just trying to grit his teeth and survive this entire ordeal.

The nation is on their toes, just waiting for the day they eventually escape. Tommy doesn't think he could dread it more.

“Five more minutes? It was getting good! They were gonna kick their-” Puffy shot him a warning look as a reminder not to swear, and Tommy deflated with a pout, “-butts. Please? Five more minutes?”
“You two shouldn’t be watching that kind of violence! You’re 16, Tommy. You shouldn’t be watching this kind of stuff.”
“I’m 17!”
“Not until tomorrow!"

50% of the population is born with superpowers, that lay dormant until each person's 17th birthday. Tommy's birthday is tomorrow, and though the orphanage that he's staying in promises to celebrate it, he's never been more excited to roll the dice and see what cool powers he gets.
Needless to say, things don't go according to plan.
Not if Dream, the most vile villain the City of L'Manberg, has ever seen has anything to do with it, at least.
