Summary
Mauler Scar-Brand, adventurer and scholar. A job to clear out bandits turns into much more when he finds messages within a bottle between a bandit leader and a man that goes by Captain Serano. His interest piqued Mauler begins investigating this Serano guy and heads to his hometown of Solitude to look for leads. Mauler expects to find a criminal and thief, and he does just that, but he doesn't expect the man's charm to steal his heart. The two stick together closely while navigating the treacherous waters of friendship transformed into a burning love. But will Val's commitment and attachment issues get in the way? Mauler Scar-Brand is not one to toy with both in battle and mind games.
This fic is the Val Serano mod but in written form and from my interpretation of the character and his in-game quests!
