For a moment, Jefferson just stood there, arms half-raised, about to return the hug awkwardly when it finally clicked.
He knew those tiny hands. He had fourteen years of experience holding that exact body, and he would recognize that voice anywhere, even if it was trying (and failing) to sound more mature.

"Miles?!"
Spider-Man stiffened. His masked eyes went huge. "Miles? What's a Miles?!"
