At some point he might not even be a person anymore. And what would Childe do then, being one of the monsters of the Abyss? He had been here before. The Abyss would not let him escape a second time.
OR: It is an unspoken fact that the Abyss takes anything and everything so as long as they can keep it. In this case, the Abyss takes Childe and gives him what he wants—a world in which he doesn’t hurt and a village that he believes he has lived his whole life in.
That is until a new villager called Zhongli appears in his life. And suddenly, Childe doesn’t know what’s real anymore. Especially when Zhongli claims that Childe knows him even when Childe has never met him before.

Zhongli is a famous playwright who is asked to direct one of his Liyuen plays in Snezhnaya. Childe, resident Snezhnayan, is his chauffeur for eight weeks. They share a car, conversations, and eventually, something a little more.
Alternatively: Drive My Car (the film not the Murakami short story), but Zhongchi, and I condense everything so their little world only fits our two main characters inside. Title from COIN’s Crash My Car.

I’ve heard of raving reviews regarding this book, but I’ve never really come around to reading it until this afternoon. Needless to say, I am now crying my eyes out and writing this review with sixteen wet tissues stuck to my keyboard. You’re welcome.
Whoever told me this wasn’t a romance book was a goddamn liar. This entire thing is a love confession. The whole Liyue arc was a goddamn love confession. Holy shit. Was it really supposed to be a historical book? I kept trying to read and re-read it again, but nope, all I saw was two really gay, constipated people who just kept jumping around each other and - when they finally got the chance to confess!!!! - got screwed over by the universe.
In which Childe releases a memoir and what entails on it takes the internet by storm.

If someone had asked Ajax at the beginning of the year who Zhongli was, he wouldn't have been able to put a face to the name. However, as for the present goes, Ajax pictures golden eyes, brown hair that gets lighter on the tips, a low ponytail and a slim figure that carries itself with both self-reliance and a pair of pretty legs (and a nice ass but he shouldn't say that). The name doesn't bring only a physical appearance to his mind but also the sound of a deep voice with a serious but gentle tone, the now familiar smell of silken flowers’ perfume that makes Ajax’s head spin and the memory of a heart he knows it’s too kind for its own good.
He also thinks about a boy who cannot see what it’s clearly painted right in front of him, much to Ajax’s luck and desperation.
Alternatively; a silly tartali high school AU.
