Phil pulled the bag back to reveal its contents. Inside it, gently glowing and sparking, was nearly a stack of blaze rods. Wilbur’s eyes widened at the sight. He needed blaze rods for potions. He desperately needed blaze rods. And Phil had more than enough to get him started!
But everything Phil brought always came with a price.
Wilbur knew that he was different from the rest of the server. For the rest of them (at least to his knowledge), Phil didn’t ask for the same favors like he asked from him. From that very first day where Phil dropped off buckets of fish for him to eat, Phil kept asking for favors. At first they were small. Almost inconsequential!
But Phil just kept asking for more. And, unless he wanted to lose the very precious items he’d been offered, he had to submit to Phil’s desires. And to be offered an entire stack of something so very difficult to obtain, Phil had to have something he wanted just as much as Wilbur wanted this.

Wilbur is bored, and as usual it lands him in Quackity's office trying to push the other's buttons in any way he can. When his eyes land on the brewing stand in the corner he's curious more than anything, but, well, one thing leads to another and has Wilbur throwing back a potion with unknown effects as a petty act to get his rival to shut up. When he doesn't immediately keel over and Wilbur's taunting gets to him, Quackity rolls his eyes and drinks the rest of it.
They leave when the potion continues to do nothing, Quackity claiming he isn’t getting work done anyway with Wilbur in his office distracting him. And then it starts to set in. Everything Quackity does is driving him absolutely insane, and he can’t tell if he wants to keep a shred of his dignity or beg the other to ruin him.

Technoblade repeats it. “We’re building a homeless shelter. It won’t be ready for a few days, but this time next week I guarantee it’ll be up and running.”
Wilbur shakes his head. This doesn’t make sense. It must be a trap, a way to gather them all in one building to make it easier to take them all.
“I promise,” Technoblade insists, “It’ll be done by then. It’ll have blankets, food, good food, a warm space, even rooms eventually.” He takes a step forward, and Wilbur staggers back. He keeps Tommy cradled against his body.
This can’t be real. It’s a trap. Technoblade is lying.
