Summary
For seasons upon seasons, the four clans have shared an unbroken harmony, ever since their first establishment. Acornkit is nestled in the nook of this oasis: an ideal family, close siblings, and a protective clan to guard her. As a ShadowClan cat, the soaring pines of their vast forest will surely protect her as she progresses from kithood to warriorhood.
But even the pines cannot withstand the power of an onslaught of storms. A chain of conflicts gradually unfolds, threatening to tear apart her life into mere pieces. But as the winds bring the threat of war, a dangerous internal storm is brewing in the once safe harbor.
As her future splits into multiple paths, she must make a choice: to rebuild what has been left of her clan and life, or to give in to the hungry desire for vengeance.
