Satoru leans into his touch, nuzzling into Suguru’s palm. Suguru bites back a grin, fighting the urge to scratch behind Satoru’s ears like a kitten. “I hope you’ve spent your morning productively.”
“Cleaned my ass.” Satoru hums. Suguru snorts, feeling plush lips stretch into a smile against his palm. “Brushed my teeth.”
“Breakfast?”
“No I was waiting for you to wake up so we could fuck and then eat.” His voice is stark and patronizing, like Suguru’s the fool for assuming otherwise. He nips at the inside of Suguru’s wrist, murmuring against the skin, “C’mon Suguru, get with the program.”

Truthfully, Satoru hasn’t thought much about the execution. He hasn’t thought much at all. His ideas are usually good, so he doesn’t bother dissecting them before he acts.

“I’m going into rut.”
It is a weird thing to say at a train station this late at night with a takeaway ramen between them, but the confession is there now, waiting out in the open.
Yutaka turns to him, eyes wide. “Is that why you keep feeding me?”
“Feeding—? Wait, I’ve—” Heat flares on Minoru’s cheeks. “I know I’ve brought you a ton of food, but I didn’t think it was that bad.”
“I wasn’t going to mention it before, but…” Yutaka holds up his takeaway. “This is wagyu, isn’t it? This ramen? Didn’t you say this would cost half of your paycheck?”
And if Minoru wasn’t absolutely mortified before, he is now.
Or, the one in which Minoru goes into pre-rut and his hormones seem to think, since there's no bond, he and Yutaka aren't a sure thing. Cue: endless pining, copious amounts of food, an ill-timed rut, and ridiculous and unnecessary courting measures.
