Irie isn't a control freak.
She's type A, sure, and likes everything a certain way, but that doesn't mean she has a problem. Everybody's particular, wants to have things the way they like them. It's human nature.
Structure and routine help Irie thrive. It's why she was valedictorian of her business class at ZU, and why she was captain of her intramural volleyball team. She likes to be told she's doing well, succeeding, making those around her proud.
When she inherits her grandfather's old farmhouse and swathe of land, it's the opportunity she's been waiting for. In dreamy, costal Pelican Town, she's going to do what she's only ever dreamed about: open her own quaint little bed and breakfast. She can handle whatever challenges come her way.What she can't handle is the guy who seems hellbent on taking her down a peg.
