Plans are made, philosophical trolly problems discussed, Skywalkers fuck up the plans, Skywalkers save the day. This fic was pretty well fraught with one thing happening after another and noone ends up where they thought they'd be at the end of it. I think the characterizations and struggles were well represented, and the outcomes well justified. The mirroring of the issues found on the planet Luke first appears on was a lovely touch.

Bookmarking as of 45 chapters.
This fic is fascinating in that the author has taken all of the smaller fics and snippets originally organized into the series and collated them into this single fic; by putting the chapters into their chronological order it's fascinating to see the differences it makes on how the information is presented. The overall story itself is really interesting as it does focus on a time-travelled Obi-wan, but it primarily does so from an external perspective. The author has brought in plenty of characters and given them relationships that make sense with how they are growing this universe. I am really excited to see where this story goes! -

Summary
FN-2187 started seeing them when he was twelve. Just glimpses around the corners or during late nights when he couldn’t sleep. He never saw them long enough to catch any identifying features about who they were, but he knew they didn’t belong in the training facilities.
He quickly learned to never ask questions about the shifty people that moved in the shadows, always appearing at random times. It earned him a trip to the medical wing where he received a stab to the neck that made him woozy, slow, and sick for days after.
But soon they came back and all he could wonder was why was he the only one that could see them? With graduation coming, he needs to figure out who he can trust and if he'll even live to see his first battle.

I fix the sequel trilogy with the clones as force ghosts and doing more with Finn's character (making him an ACTUAL Jedi). Updates every two weeks

This fic is a slightest AU to Force Awakens, we still have all our lovely boys and girls, but Finn has extra support (and a bit of training) in the form of Force ghosts of the Clones. While events go very similarly to the movie, Finn is very much a Force user baby, and spends some extra time in the torture chambers, but also gets adopted by almost all 3 million clones that wander in and out of his life. Poe and Rey are the best of buds with him, despite their short time bonding with eachother, and Han Solo makes it out kind of alive (coma) at the end of it.

Nothing more satisfying than punching a child torturer in the face! The chocobros find a runaway kid and go on a side quest to stop a Nif human experimentation base. Lots of cute kid moments and almost constant battles being fought. Noctis does have some bonus abilities here, but the writing did was also remi iscent of how the game mechanics work for battles.

This was less of a crack fic than expected; plenty of moments of deep emotions and wisdom were packed between glib humour. The story follows Merlin being a mildly feral gremlin as he tries to avoid past mistakes and re-bonds with his friend group. The insights into his "future" were also sweet and gave dimension to his thought processes (or lack thereof). Occasionally there are changes in POV, but it is mainly focused on Merlin's perspective. Gwen is a badass, and everyone generally gets their happy ending.

I LOVED Stan, Rachel, and Danny being mobsters together; the interpersonal relationships, sharp teasing and murder threats, were hella fun. The whole plot goes pretty quickly, most of the fic is spent on the conversational (and sexually tensioned) moments, and works through the establishment of the core 5-0 team and big baddies. Of course, criminals and law-men cant just jump into bed together and ride off into the sunset, but this fic has as close to a fairytale ending as could be believable.

This fic is mostly extrapolating from the cartoon, extending conversations and scenes that were already a part of it, and the author did a really good job of making them fit. The characters still carry their core values through, and the emotions given to Shang make sense for his history and where the story leads. From the power dynamic to The Secret reveal, his reactions and understanding of his and Ping's relationship were confused and a bit awkward, but he really was trying his best. It's cute without being fluffy, and makes me want to go do kickboxing or something.

It's not a happy story, but there are growth and bright points to be found in it. Lots of canon characters get demolished without a revival, but many make it through with only severe emotional and physical scarring. It's an interesting take on what a severely jaded, unnaturally mature, Naruto could be capable of.

This fic has spot on characterization as far as I can tell. Our DC interlopers are irreverent and helpful on their own terms, the clones are gems, and our Jedi are forced to confront feelings. The fic is well paced and balances action and plot while moving things along quickly enough to get to the point in under 100,000 words.

“It’s healing really well.” Katara tells him with a smile, before her lips quirk down into a frown. “Though it’ll still scar pretty bad.”
Zuko shrugs. “It’s ok. I doubt people will really focus on it anyway… the one on my face is a bit more prominent.”
Katara makes a face, like she’s not quite sure if she should laugh or frown, when Toph speaks up.
“You have a scar on your face?” Toph asks, sitting up so she’s sitting by his legs rather than lying on them.
Zuko blinks. He never quite forgets that Toph is blind, but the fact that she can’t see his scar never really occurred to him.
“Oh, yeah.” Zuko looks down at his lap. “My father burned like, half my face off before I was banished.” He says it a little too casually, probably not bitterly enough.
A crash next to him makes him look up, to see Katara's horrified expression, and a shattered bowl of water at her feet.
No one says anything for a long moment.
“Zuko… it- your dad?” Katara finally manages to gasp out. Zuko blinks at her, his brain moving slowly.
“You didn’t know?” He asks in genuine surprise.
“No.” Sokka wheezes.
Zuko blinks at him. “Oh.” Is all he can manage to say.

My stars, this fic made me cry. Some suicidal thoughts for a bit, multiple panic/anxiety attacks and meltdowns, but also it's jam packed with vignettes of how to show love and care and friendship and family. AU to how they all met, no Woojin mentions, but still true to the realities of idol life and Stray Kids debut survival show.
