Growing up, Yuuri would often watch ASMR. This was for a number of different reasons really; to help him fall asleep, to calm his anxiety, even just to pass the time in a relaxing manner. He knew this was fairly normal, healthy even! But he couldn't help feeling a little embarrassed whenever he'd search for videos in Russian, closing his eyes and imagining his favourite skating gently lulling him to sleep...
Now an adult, Yuuri is still struggling to grapple with the fact that Victor is in Hasetsu, wanting to be his coach! How can he fall asleep to Victor Nikifofov ASMR when the Victor Nikiforov is alseep in the next room?! And how on earth can he even begin to defend himself when said Victor Nikiforov catches his little habit...?

He almost can’t take it. It’s too unbelievable. He’s just… Yuuri, after all.
Yuuri Katsuki with a stack of gold medals is still just Yuuri Katsuki.
He can imagine Victor repeating the same words back to him with his own name and how he’d argue that is absolutely not the case, and he laughs inwardly a bit at that.

Recognition comes with fame, and all Victor Nikiforov wants is a breather. Hair tucked beneath a beanie and a travel mask (like he's seen some of his competitors wear) covering half his face, he thinks he can manage a trip to a park in another country without being recognised. When someone comes barreling towards him yelling "Victor", he thinks that's blown... until a cute miniature poodle and his equally cute (and actually familiar) owner crash into him.
As for Yuuri, being on his home turf (or as close as he’s been as far as the international circuit goes) is equal parts nerve-wracking and exciting, but seeing Vicchan is only happy… until he starts causing trouble, of course.
