Summary
Io Altruan- elementalist mage, occasional sellsword, and newly proclaimed ‘Prophetess,’ finds herself facing her last challenge in the Dust Pit’s arena.
Her biggest challenge, however, lurks just behind— brought forward by a half-Aeterna Rhalâim with dangerous plans and a deep-seated rage seething just beneath his surface. Tharaêl Narys, Voice of the Father, approaches Io with one goal in mind: Bring down the leader of the Rhalâta, a monster who experimented on children and bends the people of the Undercity to their will.
Unfortunately, Tharaêl and Io share a great deal of unchecked anger, enough so that it threatens their plans. The real question is— do they risk it all and use their fury to dive headfirst into revenge? Or do they take the difficult route and face their pain, work together to heal it, and just maybe save the world along the way?
Time is running short. Io has got to figure it out fast, and somehow pull both their shit together before the two of them get themselves killed by a monster they can barely comprehend.
