The royal family doesn’t need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads – as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo.

After a violent incident, Tommy uses his ability to seal and combine items to get his revenge. While his quest for retribution goes on - as lies are amassed while bloody battles are fought - Tommy gets deeper into the criminal world he thought he was safe from and discovers societal truths he wasn’t prepared for.
Tommy will have to make hard choices as his antics will have consequences while his powers make him a target. He has to juggle his multiple personas while also dealing with conflicting priorities when he somehow befriends the people he was planning to exploit.

“We’ll tell nobody. We’ll let them make their own conclusions about what happened to us.” Charlie softly reassured him as he gently worked through a particularly tangled clump of blood and some other mysterious substance stubbornly clinging to Ranboo’s hair.
“We’ll get you home, Ranboo.” Charlie swore to them, “It’s over. You don’t have to be brave anymore. It’s okay.” Ranboo hesitated, before slowly pulling away, and Charlie could only let them.
“You can’t go back either.” Ranboo called him out, and Charlie wavered, “Please.” Ranboo sounded devastated as he begged, “Please, Charlie. I can’t- I can’t lose you too…”
Charlie forced a weak smile on his face, feeling a sort of disdainful irony as he held up his pinky to the other. “I pinky swear, I won’t go back there.”
It was only when Ranboo wasn’t looking did Charlie drop the crossed fingers behind his back.
(AKA: A "What-if" where Ranboo and Charlie escape Showfall and deal with the turbulent journey that comes with recovery all while trying to keep the horrible things which happened to them a secret for the sake of their own safety.)

Grian whined and tried to squirm away, control slipping back into his blood. He peeled his eyes open, but the room was dark, faint pearly light streaming in through open curtains. He realized it was a hand between his legs, pulling out from under his ruined shorts to poke at his cunt through the giant hole torn through the crotch. Whoever was touching him growled, the sound so deep and rattly it reminded Grian of Grumbot. Fingers pushed his lips apart, the cold air making him clench. He tried to close his legs, but he was met by more growling, and a hand under his knee, sharp nails breaking skin. Grian gasped and tried to squirm away when something pressed against his hole. At once, the last dregs of sleep drained from Grian’s mind. His arms flew up, clumsy and uncoordinated, pressing against a cold chest and coarse fabric, in an attempt to push the person on him away. The thing growled again, deeper this time-no hermit growled like that. It grabbed for his wrists, missing one, but pinning the other next to his head. He kept pushing with his free hand, but the thing jerked its hips forward, the head of its dick forcing its way into Grian’s tight cunt.

The slime tumbled into the minecart, flooding it with its body. Immediately, Grian was engulfed in cold. The slime’s body filled the minecart to the brim, leaving only his head exposed, hanging over the edge of the minecart.
But the slime didn’t attack. It sloshed in the cart, soaking his clothes and skin, but made no move to kill him. It started to vibrate. Grian moaned when he remembered the last Hermit meeting. X had explained that the glitch making the mobs loving, as Scar liked to put it, was no longer just a glitch. It was still uncommon, no doubt, but it pushed X to implement a safe word, a phrase their communicators would hear, making them contact X, who would teleport them to himself for a check up.

The Nether had been weirdly empty lately. Whether or not it was because of the latest update, Grian would be last to know the answer. All he knew was some overheard nonsense piglins he heard from Mumbo or Xisuma.
Now he knew.
Grian was tackled to the ground before he could raise his sword. The thing pinned his wrists over his head with one hand, the other threw his sword away. Grian looked up and saw what had to be a piglin. It was similar in size to zombie pigman, which meant it dwarfed Grian, but was noticeably less dead. Its hand was hot against Grian’s wrists, the heat seeped through his clothes in seconds.
