Summary

A sixth-year rewrite, canon diversion. A real look into how Harry should have been effected psychologically if the book had dared to go darker, and the idea of trying to be a regular teenager, whilst also falling in love with his best friend.
He is convinced he is something that must end. She is convinced that he is only just beginning.
Update: all chapters have been through extensive updates, improvements, rewrites, and extension (some from 2k words to 9k). Additional scenes have been added upon popular request.

Summary

Summary

What was first a plan to get back at Ron and protect Harry from his admirers ends up leading into something very unexpected for the pair. Perhaps they weren't just friends after all.
