When Luigi and Bowser find themselves stranded together in the Lost Kingdom after a turbulent windstorm sends them flying off Bowser’s airship, a busted up Odyssey becomes their unlikeliest of saviors. Now reluctant traveling companions, doomed to remain marooned without the other’s help, the two gather power moons and embark on a globe-trotting adventure home. However, as they fly and hunt for moons together, encountering and overcoming any and all conflicts in their way, their reservations about each other wither away while a fondness forged through their travels grows into something neither of them ever thought was possible.

A terrible earthquake leaves Aperture Science in near ruins. Where strong panels once laid, silently supporting their boss, now lay broken pieces of metal and stone, if anything at all.
After both take extensive damage during the disaster, GLaDOS and Wheatley emerge from sleep mode only to find themselves in a waking nightmare: They are bound together, forced to live off of each other's working parts in place of their own failed hardware until replacements can be obtained -- if they can at all, that is.
Now trapped together in their new role as Aperture's Central Cores and with Chell nowhere to be found, GLaDOS and Wheatley must overcome their chasm of differences in order to survive everything that the crumbling facility can -- and will -- throw at them. It won't be easy -- GLaDOS and Wheatley are certainly in no rush to get along -- but through necessity and inevitably forged camaraderie, they might not only be able to find value beyond pure survival in their unwitting companion's presence, but also bring out the best in each other and themselves. And if they can do that, well...who knows what else they can find together, too?

After all, being trapped forever in the bowels of his once thriving facility with the decidedly weak company that the toilet turrets made for was hardly a pleasant -- nor particularly engaging -- fate. For his money, the boredom alone is enough to make this his personal hell.
However, when he's discovered by the being he harmed the most in his pre-immortalized life, he realizes that life could be a whole lot worse and unfortunately for him, GLaDOS is all-too giddy to subject him to it.
