“Good morning,” Meng Yao responds, voice soft and low. “I’m surprised I’m up before Mingjue.”
“I think we tired him out,” Lan Xichen jokes. “Not completely, though,” he chuckles, nodding and gesturing with his knitting project.
Meng Yao snickers as he sits up to do his stretches. Morning light has started to peek through the slats of the windows, highlighting Nie Mingjue’s incredibly visible morning wood.
“Nice,” says Meng Yao.
