Summary
A year after the defeat of the Kishin, many things have changed. The world has begun to heal, but Maka and Kid struggle to return to the way things had been. Some wounds take longer to heal, some scar, and some can't be fixed alone. Can they find comfort in one another, or are they too damaged to find peace.
{In this fic, the gang is all around 17. I imagine the events of the anime to take much longer than they do canonically}
