Summary
With the Olympiad completed, the Phantom Torchbearer assumes that themself and the Silver Knight will cease to exist, returning to the darkness between life and death. The other races have closed their borders, choosing to preserve themselves from the attack of a mad king. Into this chaotic mess is the next cycle born, though who plays what roles are not obvious. A Prince who only seeks to protect his sister. A Princess who knows more than her years. A Chieftess that holds a divine secret. A King whose power-mad pursuits threaten a kingdom. A Child born into a dying race. A Knight that seeks the glory of his forbears. A Ghost of a child wrongly slain. Who shall take on the necessary roles? Will the cycle continue, or will Hyrule fall?
A high fantasy epic across Hyrule, featuring plenty of political drama, moral dilemmas, and discovering the darkness within oneself.
An original tale set in an original rendition of Hyrule, with bits and pieces taken from many of the games. It could conceivably be in any of the timelines, but that is up to your interpretation.Updates sporadically, but fingers crossed not too much of a gap.

Summary
During her travels, Hornet finds a mysterious shackle meant to bind malfunctioning automatons for future disassembly. Such a discovery would be insignificant — except more and more similar shackles keep appearing around the choral chambers, as if hunting a certain prey.
She's not the only one who has noticed. The Second Sentinel of Pharloom remembers such shackles from ages ago — and if their suspicion is correct, it is not just themselves who is in danger from an old hunter's obsession.
It will take both of their combined strength to combat this unseen foe…

Hans puts his arms around Henry and they sway, not quite dancing, grasping onto the tattered fragments of song and holding them tight. And it should be joyful but Henry feels the ache in his chest growing and glowing and expanding, cleaving him into mirrored fragments, because the music is so thin and distant and the forest reflections are so wild and strange and they will never do this properly, they will never dance before a minstrel, they will never be more than these phantoms in the dark.

Henry’s life was good. Not the one he’d envisioned a decade ago, but good all the same. He had a brilliant daughter, a surprisingly friendly relationship with his ex-wife, and a solid reputation in his line of work. What more could he possibly want?
