    I was re-reading When a man in a suit asks you to get his coffee say No and I realised that I lost the plot a little bit. There was no way that I was ever going to make it back to the prologue with all the twists and turns I came up with so I decided to start again, to do it right. So here it is;

    Since Marinette was twelve all she wanted to do was defeat Hawk Moth and move on with her life, then Lila came, Master Fu made her guardian, and Mayura traded herself out for Fowl [an even more twisted villain wearing the peacock miraculous]. By the time she's seventeen and finally standing victorious she just wants to go to bed but that would be too easy.

    The trip to Gotham was supposed to be freeing, a way to finally breathe but the second day has barely passed lunch when she's snatched in the middle of Wayne industrious and tossed to a pack of demons pretending to be human. Suddenly she's drowning in deadly secrets and constantly surrounded by the most dangerous men in America where the only hope she has is a plane ticket hiding in the very lining of her suitcase.

    God help her if they ever find it before she gets out.

    Bruce finally got around to checking if he had any other biological children. After Damian was dropped in his lap -almost literally- he meant to do a full search but then things got busy. Jason came back to life, he discovered the Joker was immoral, Dick went to Blüdhaven in order to stop the gangs from spreading to Gotham, and he had his hands full with a mini assassin who was continuously trying to kill his successor. It'd been a busy two years. But now he had time to look and was surprised with what he found.

    *all the tags with Marinette in the relationship section are with Marin and not Marinette but Marin started as a genderswapped version of Marinette so I just kept it like that in the tags.
