    At first, you thought someone was lost in thought or peering at something behind you, which is completely plausible as it always happened on the street. The second time, you considered it a coincidence.

    But by the week was done you started sweating. God, the stare was hard like metal, hidden with red tints and it was like the eyes wished to slice you open and peer into your insides. It was funny in a sick sort of way, you only felt it in this tiny section of your way home and the feeling never followed you, so it never raised much panic.

    However, as the days passed and the shifts felt longer, the feeling started to change. Now, the stares are starting to tinge against your skin, like poison ivy, now it feels like breathing against your skin. The eyes have a face, features, the eyes come from a body, a human.
