I’m back again with Kinktober this year, and this time I’m going all in with all 31 days (fingers crossed I don’t regret it later). For most of the days I already have characters, but a few are still TBA as I figure out who to write for.

Summary
after Jinu disappeared without a trace—vanished into the chaos of battle, leaving only a scorch mark and silence—Rumi never spoke of it out loud. Not to the fans. Not to Mira & Zoey. Not even to herself.
But the dreams began, always reoccurring, each time, more clear than the next.
Every few nights, Rumi found herself standing at the entrance of an aquarium she’d never visited. And always, without fail, Jinu would be there. Smirking. Waiting.
In the waking world, Rumi trained harder. Fought colder. Smiled & talked less.
Yet, in her dreams, she laughed with Jinu again. Smiled more, and was filled with warmth.
Last night, the dream lasted longer. Clearer. The two of them walked side by side beneath jellyfish and glowing fish. Rumi heard her own laughter echo off the glass.
It felt real — Too real.
And when she woke up, her fingers still tingled like they had brushed against Jinu’s just before the dream ended.
