Yasha could understand why she hadn’t recognized her immediately. She looked nothing like the Beau she remembered. Her face was covered in blood, which was honestly the most Beau-looking thing about her. But she also had a black eye and maybe a broken nose. The rest of her body was covered in bruises, indicating some probably some broken ribs as well. It wasn’t hard for Yasha to make the connection that Beau had been tortured while in their captivity.

Summary
Beau didn't have any friends. She was shit at making them and worse at keeping them. Her life hadn't exactly been a breeze and she didn't particularly care to drag anyone else into it. Passed from foster home to foster home while growing up, she'd landed with Zeenoth at the end and, while she wouldn't call herself well rounded or adjusted, Beau thought she'd come out alright.
Except now her foster dad had decided she needed a companion now that she'd struck out on her own. Cue Beauregard's reluctant attendance to the Omega auctions. It was this or let Zeenoth pick one out for her and she'd be damned if she let him drop a snitch in her house so easily.

Jester's been sold and resold more times than she can count. She tries to be good, really she does, but there's nothing about her that Alpha's want in an Omega. Sure, she's curvy and soft and just the right side of short. Her personality, however, has gotten her re-homed over and over and has finally landed her at the auctions.
